setting up new mobile for email

just got a shiny t610.
can I get it to send an email? can I b0ll0X.
Now Im pretty technically minded, the phone came with no idiots set up guide or anything like that, the average punter would be lost hours ago if Im sat here struggling?
do I need to initialise something with O2? it says it cant find the server?

You need Mobile Web setup on your phone
O2 MobileWeb
Ensure they have GPRS active and they give you the correct settings, ie Internet over GPRS as opposed to Internet over WAP.
Also look here Esato for good information regarding SE phones.
