Question

What's a decent basic JPG reader that I can give to someone who just wants to look at photos I e-mail them? No need for fancy features. Small and free is good.

Cheers!

I've written one that's very small (113k) and simple. You can download it from here.

Many thanks for the responses guys! MarkO, being a total novice, how do I set those command line parameters? Will be using it under XP and 98.

Cheers.

Try IrfanView ... a free (I think) image viewing program. Reads all sorts of images including JPEGs.

Jack, stick it in the root of the cd, and in the autorun.inf file use the command-line:

slip -a -x .\*.*

The -a will cause the pics to auto-cycle, the -x will run the app in full-screen maximised mode, and the '.' will cause it to scan the entire CD directory tree from the current Dir downwards for pics.

BTW, sorry for the delay in answering.
