What's a decent basic JPG reader that I can give to someone who just wants to look at photos I e-mail them? No need for fancy features. Small and free is good.

Thanks. I mean something other than Internet Explorer. I hate looking at photos in IE ... dunno why.

you'll prob be wanting one of those apps that come free with a scanner and such like...

if you cant find one, drop me a mail, i'm sure i got one kicking about doing nowt....

Try IrfanView ... a free (I think) image viewing program. Reads all sorts of images including JPEGs.

Jack, stick it in the root of the cd, and in the autorun.inf file use the command-line:

slip -a -x .\*.*

The -a will cause the pics to auto-cycle, the -x will run the app in full-screen maximised mode, and the '.' will cause it to scan the entire CD directory tree from the current Dir downwards for pics.
