What's a decent basic JPG reader that I can give to someone who just wants to look at photos I e-mail them? No need for fancy features. Small and free is good.

Many thanks for the responses guys! MarkO, being a total novice, how do I set those command line parameters? Will be using it under XP and 98.
Cheers. |
Try IrfanView ... a free (I think) image viewing program. Reads all sorts of images including JPEGs.

Jack, stick it in the root of the cd, and in the autorun.inf file use the command-line:
slip -a -x .\*.* The -a will cause the pics to auto-cycle, the -x will run the app in full-screen maximised mode, and the '.' will cause it to scan the entire CD directory tree from the current Dir downwards for pics. BTW, sorry for the delay in answering. ;) |
