cant see Gif picures??

I use another bulletin board and my avatar has stoppped working. But it seems fine when I use other computers.
My avatar is a .gif file (animated picture)
Any ideas why? is there a setting I may of turned off

More seriously, check that the gif root class in your registry is a) there and b) has the correct entries - look at jpg and take from there.
