Question

Can I run these side by side? Got a new PC with Office XP but all the databases we use have been developed in Access 2k. It needs to stay that way for the time being but when I try and open an existing DB in Access 2002 it throws a fit.

Can it be done or do I need to ditch Office XP?

Ta muchly

Mark

You really need to put Access 2000 on before XP and not let XP 'upgrade' it.

Let me find a link for you Mark.

Thumbs up

Thanks Chris.

PC came with XP pre-loaded. Best to uninstall, put Access 2k on then reinstall, yes?

Getting some wierd behaviour ATM. Try and open a DB on the network, Access 2002 wants to repair it but it can't. Open a local DB successfully then try and open the same network DB as before without shutting Access down. Opens no problem. WTF is going on? Any clues?
