Question

Having bought a Sony TFT last weekend I now realise how hanging my biege midi tower looks alongside it. I have a 1Ghz AMD Athlon, Asus AGP-V7700 graphics card, soundblaster card, pinnacle video capture card, CD/dvd and CDRW.
Would it be possible to fit it in a mini tower such as this one?

Most of the cases seem to be for ATX, what is this ,do I have it?

Alternatively I could go for another midi but something out of the ordinary such as these

CSE-MID-5619W 5+ In Stock
Skyhawk Motor-Door Silver/Black+W Exc VAT £55.00
Inc VAT £64.63
One of the best looking cases available, with a window!

Has anyone any experience of this, what are the cooling requirements when downsizing?
Any help greatly appreciated.

I'd say probably yes the atx is a form factor for motherboards and case compliance, so just need to check what motherboard you have.

A lot of cases are both AT & ATX factor; it's the PSU that differs.

I'd have thought your Athlon 1ghz board would be ATX, but as suggested by Mr Cookie check your motherboard spec first to be sure.

Mini cases look better (IMHO), but are nowhere as easy to assemble as the larger Midi cases and you may have problems fitting cards and numerous drives if you have them / upgrade.

My advice - Check your mobo factor (on their website) and go for the compatible MIDI ATX case.

Take a look at ebuyer.com as they have a load of cases....
