Spent last night playing this on the PS2 with a few mates.
Good fun game only let down by the PS2's sloooooooooow loading times.
Superb combinations of joypads, lightguns and steering wheels can be used You can have one person driving with a steering wheel and another doing the shooting with the lightgun
The game is in a similar vein to the Driver series, which is a good thing IMO, except with added extras like power-ups to shoot. There are a limited array of weapons, but still lots to keep you amused. Starts to get very hard though, we only managed to get as far as the 5th level in an evening
Got the X-Box version to try out a bit later, should be a bit better and will certainly load faster
Anyone else had a play with the old Torino ?

Let me know what you think of the Xbox version, DJ?
Might be a bit of a laugh!!
You are on Xbox live? Any Xbox games to recommend for playing on live? I have Moto GP2 if you fancy a game on line. I am only ranked around 6000 but have only been playing for a few evenings, my aim is to get in the top 100.
Anyway let me know....

Gave the X-Box version a quick go at lunchtime. The graphics are smoother, its faster and less jerky. Best of all the level loading times (from the HDD) are about 5 seconds compared to the PS2 version which took 1-2 minutes (really ) to load a level !
Just to add, basically the game (so far) is all about chasing another car around the streets of Bay City (I think) and shooting them.
You have a Viewer Rating (VR) in the top left of the screen which ticks down, to keep this up you need to shoot the enemy, drive over or shoot VR Boosts, drive close to other cars (in a Burnout stylee), do jumps and set off special events
Great fun. Not sure it has amazing lasting appeal, but well worth a play.
FBS - Nope, not on X-Box Live I'm afraid. My box is a bit too norty for that Although some good games that you can play on Live are IMO: Unreal Championship, MotoGP2 (as mentioned) & RTCW.
Another good one would be Midnight Club II. Five unique multiplayer game modes and even a Race Editor to create your own track Midtown Madness 3 out soon too

Stuntman got very mixed reviews.
Personally I enjoyed and was hooked for a while - but the graphics engine isn't the best so its quite jerky.
Long load times too.
Its a good idea, just poorly executed, as if it had been rushed. Its was actually written 2 mins down the road from where I'm sitting!
