Virgin Net. 2 hour cut off.

Question

I get disconnected evry 2 hours with virgin net.
How can i stop this from happening? im runing windows XP

change ISP

also, have your browser auto re-connect when virgin drops the connection (some download managers do this for you anyway if you have one running & downloading )

many isps have this as standard, eg tiscali and freeserve
although i know aol dont have a cutoff

Ntl have it too,as far as i know you cant get round it.

BT do the same.

Change to ADSL and never get cut off

The two hour max is a right pain, but it stops people connecting and leaving it connected all day even when they are not surfing/downloading/playing.
