Anyone done a decent essay/report on WANs recently?
Just remembered i'm due one in tomorrow (3000words) and I don't have the time to do it
I'll gladly swap for any reports i've done, should they be of use:
MUOSs
SSADM
SDLC
etc.

Never in the history of Scoobynet has a username seemed more apt
As this report will be my first and last unit on networking technologies(as programming is my thing), i do not see the point in extensively researching it.

In my day you learnt stuff by reading books, and writing notes with pen and paper.
Things go a little easier when you could type your (book read) notes on a computer - easy changes and even spell checkers.
Then came the Internet, so you could search a massive number of resources from which to produce your notes (which were your interpretation of what was read).
I guess that is not easy enough for the kids of today
What next, copy your degree certificate off the Internet (or possibly ask your mates how to do it)??
Oh, any perhaps when you take a driving test, and the only bit left to do is the three point turn, maybe you can download that too to save you any bother

OK, I'm just about to graduate with a Software Engineering Degree (I hope anyway!) and I have to agree with Fullonloon. You should have put the effort in and done it yourself. I feel for you, we all make mistakes but at the end of the day its your own doing and Fullonloon is entitled to his opinion. Why not just resit, and learn from your mistake. If your a first year you only need a pass anyway! Alternatively work your *** off over the next 12 hours and get it done rather than trying to take the easy way.
As for IT graduates being useless it's probably true, but personally I want to learn and develope. University has given me a good basis but I learned more in my year in industry than I did during my course.
If there is one thing I've learned over the past 4 years it is that you HAVE TO PUT THE WORK IN! If you satisfy the typical student mindset you won't get anywhere.

Look chaps, settle down eh!
As it happens, i've had the last 2 hours to sit down and rattle off 2000 words and a few basic illustrations.
As it happens, whoever mentioned it was correct, i simply need a pass. Nevertheless, it is a required pass in something i'm not the slightest bit interested in and will not encounter again throughout the rest of my degree (hence the call for help).
Cheers anyway boys, i'll remember your community spirit in future as I continue to offer free software to countless SN members.

Scooby Dooby Blue, no offence intended just trying to pass on some valued advice to a fellow student.
Good luck with the essay. Only 4 days left as a student, then I enter "the real world" as everyone keeps telling me
