When I go to the MSN wap portal to sign up to MSN Messenger it asks me which USA telecoms network I'm on
Is there a UK version? Must be cos Hotmail thru WAP is fine..

*Available in the US only through Verizon Wireless
Also will only work with a phone that reads html i.e. the Microsoft Smart Phone.

I've been using Tipic on my P800 with GPRS without any problems. Unless you purchase the Pro version you are limited to only connecting to the tipic.com jabber server, so make sure you've created an account on that jabber server first.
then under settings, just enter your tipic.com jabber username (without @tipic.com) and password.
I assume if you use your exisiting GPRS connection for email then you have the correct APN selected. I'm on Vodafone so use the internet enabled GPRS APN "internet", username & password "web"
