No

If you read the small print...

*Available in the US only through Verizon Wireless

Also will only work with a phone that reads html i.e. the Microsoft Smart Phone.

I've found what seems to be an RFC type document for the MSN messenger protocol here. Perhaps its possible to develop a Java app or something that could be used on some of the more modern phones?

I downloaded tipic for my Nokia 7650 but I can't seem to get it to connect, have GPRS enabled and it works fine with email etc. Anyone got any ideas?

I've been using Tipic on my P800 with GPRS without any problems. Unless you purchase the Pro version you are limited to only connecting to the tipic.com jabber server, so make sure you've created an account on that jabber server first.

then under settings, just enter your tipic.com jabber username (without @tipic.com) and password.

I assume if you use your exisiting GPRS connection for email then you have the correct APN selected. I'm on Vodafone so use the internet enabled GPRS APN "internet", username & password "web"

HTH

Works great on my SPV, though a pain to type messages, tend to use the iPAQ over GPRS
