My Headunit now has CD text capability (used on orininal CDs), and I was wondering if a piece of software exists that can burn custom CDs and write CD text to be displayed when playing?

Nero Supports this feature, but it needs a CDR/CDRW that supports CD-Text also.

You just use normal blank CD-R discs.

Or I did missunderstand the question?

I just use normal bulk purchase CDR's there is nothing special about them! they cost less than 20p each!

Your writer has to support CD TEXT writing.

As stated, writer needs to support text & then use Nero - it will even look up all the text for you on CDDB as long as you have a web connection.

The only other thing you need to do is close the session when you record.

CD's are so cheap these days - I copy them whenever I buy them just to get the text on.
