Got made redundant Wednesday afteroon
Called over to HR
Come in sit down and oh your being made redundant
Here is the package take it to a solicitor and it has be been signed before end of month if not its void and you get nowt
Get all personal stuff packed up hand in laptop mobile etc etc and leave
Bit shell shocked still

 

Speak to the solicitor mate - I got made redundant about a year ago and had a case for unfair dismissal and now going to court as they owe me loads of money.

Good luck - that's a bit sh!tty.

I was laid off about 3.5 years ago - even though I knew it was coming it was a shock when it actually happened. It's just the "go home now" aspect of it that takes you by surprise.
