Converting MP3's to Midi, is this possible

I don't think it is. MP3 records the actual 'sound' of the music. Midi records how to play it.

I think that's how it works..

You can usually find the MIDI file for most songs though, just a question of trawling the MIDI sites, the midifarm is a good place to start.
