Question

Thanks all who helped me out on the dual DDR question. Here's the current top of the 'oooh I like' list.

Will this lot work, or do I need anything else?

Asus P4C800 Deluxe
Intel P4 3.0Ghz FSB800
Sapphire ATI Radeon 9800 Pro
Thermalright SLK-900 (Socket 478 & Socket A) (HS-008-TR)
Delta 80mm Fan (SHE) (FG-001-DE)
2X Cosair 512mb DDR XMS3500
3-pin to 4-pin Adapter Cable (CB-007-GE)
Nifty Case I've seen
Hiper 520W PSU
Maxtor Diamondmax Plus 9 120Gb 7200rpm 8mb Cache ATA133.

Good spec Neil

The only thing I'd say is the Delta fan will give Concord on full afterburner a run for its money sound wise, if its anything like the delta fans I've had before. Stick a 92mm quiet fan on it, should be able to find a decent thru put one.

The P4C800 are £155+VAT on my trade price list this week (for small quantities), so if you're close to that not a bad price.

Neil

Something like a Papst 92mm would be a good bet, might not have the thru put of the delta but is about 15db quieter.
