Act-Labs stuff is good, you can get cartridges for them to use the wheel on different platforms.. xbox, gc etc. It is a bit pricier than most though.

Cool

I've got the logitech 'force feedback' wheel, and it's pretty good.

Got mine from comet as they had an offer on, but available at most places including www.johnlewis.com (who have loads of money off offers floating around just now).

Piccies and info here :

I use the granturismo wheel/pedals which is really good, not tried others though, but the quality of the materials used seems to be good.

Yes - I wanted to make something & found this so built it myself.

I bought a seat, made a frame up from Kee Klamp components which I bought from my local BSS outlet. A local steel fabrication place made the pedal plates - I took the pedals in & they made a plate to fit with a 45 degree bend in - charged me a tenner I think.

The childs one is made out of a Recaro Start car seat.

My wife wants me to make another adults one as she's sick of having to sit in the kids one

It was somewhere around £100 for the frame & another £100 or so for the seat.
