Just got an email about joining the PS2 online game trial, so would need to have the PS2 near my router upstairs (or get a very long network cable!!)

So has anyone used any ps2->Vga adapters? Are they any good, and can you recommend one?

You need an upscan converter to do it properly. You can get cheapo boxes that do componsite signal but the quality isn't as good as an upscan convert using component video signals.
