Having some probs connecting my T100 to my PC to use the PCLink software - can anyone go through the exact proceedure for this?

Tried lots of methods but keep getting a "System Failure - Contact Provider" message on the phone and the PCLink software tells me that is has not connected with a phone.

Anyone able to offer any suggestions/help?

It needs to be switched off when you connect AFAIR.

yes,needs to be switched off,plug the leads in,download tones.I aint a computer geek but it seemd straightforward to me.

Maybe u have a fault?

Switch phone off, connect lead. Open software and click connect. tones / screensavers should now download straight to the phone. It should be as simple as that, if it doesn't work try re-installing the software, might be something to do with the com port settings.

I've tried that, and it's still not working

Going to try another cable to see if that is what's causing the probs - fingers crossed!
