Has anybody else had this problem. When reading through threads on Scoobynet and trying to reply to them, the "reply Button" is not present on screen! Only have this problem on my home PC and not at work. Unfortunately can't reply to this if any one can help. It's a pretty basic Packard Bell with a 1.8 Intel Celeron Processor.

This really ought to be in a FAQ...
It's Norton Internet Security's ad blocking feature - it thinks that the 'reply' button is an ad, and stops it from appearing. The simple fix is to turn off ad blocking when browsing SN. There is another more complex fix, but Simon doesn't like people doing it so I won't describe it here.

Yep - dunno the instructions for a permenant fix but disable any personal firewall software and see if it magically appears.
Happens when I use my parents PC with Norton on.

Chris,
I posted the instructions in detail once. Simon deleted my post and replaced it with an expression of his views on ad blocking. The official line, I believe, is simply never to use ad blocking while surfing SN - whether you ever click on banner ads or not.
If you really want, I'll explain exactly how the fix is done - it's not complicated - but you can post it yourself. The 'fix' of simply turning off ad blocking seems to be a good compromise.
Andy.

The ad blocking in Norton Internet Security 2003 doesn't cause any problems on Scoobynet (it doesn't block all the ads, but it doesn't take long to fix that ). It's the 2002 version of NIS that does cause problems.
I can't take screenshots as I'm not running 2002. It's all done in the Advanced settings though.
