Problem loading software?

Iv been trying to install Pro Engineer 2001 on my computer but when i put the disk in the autorun works displaying a message "Running installation.. Please wait" after a long wait the nothing happens and it just minimizes.
I really need some help with this bcuz i cant ask for help of Pro-E its a "Backup copy"
Im running 1.6GZ Intel P4
256 RAM
Windows XP
tried the disk in another computer and the instalation runs with out a problem.
