switched on computer & left room,when i returned computer had gone into safe mode why??

i have ran norton system works,a few short cuts were missing & these were fixed

i then ran norton anti-virus to see if any thing was wrong there,but everything seems fine

so how do i get my computer out of safe mode? i`m running windows 98 if this helps

When you start the computer hold down the F5 key until you get a menu up which gives you start up options. Select start up as normal from the menu. If it will not load windows & continues to go into safe mode you need to think about what you have changed to make this happen (drivers, hardware, software, etc)

 

cheers daz i dug out a few computer mags & there said to hold down ctrl while starting up windows this gives a similer option to what you said
