PS2 repair

Well my ps2 is broken. It is a chipped v6 (i think) board with a Messiah 2. It has trouble reading the disks now. It gets VERY loud and makes straining sound, the speed on the rotation slows down lots (stops sometimes) then speeds up and stops loading games at various stages. It sometimes sounds like it speeds up and slams the brakes on . Kind of a chchchchch sound (dont laugh 
) This would lead me to suggest the drive/laser is knackered.
Does anyone know of a good fitter in the North West (pref mobile) that could do a repair on it.
