Question

Hi

Have got a problem on a computer whereby it dials up the internet,it says it,s connected but then it can't display any web pages.Have re-installed the modem and the ISP software to no effect. If i try and install other ISP setup disks i get various different error messages.Any ideas?

TIA

Could be something to do with DNS, if you type in http://216.109.125.64 do you get the yahoo search page?

Lightbulb

I take it, it is an analogue connection?

If so you'll have to completely uninstall the networking components (network cards, DUN etc) and reinstall them again. Then try it again and it should work.
