I used www.123-reg.co.uk in the past. Very cheap and no problems when I moved the adress to another ISP.

Question

Whilst on the subject of registering a domain, what is the score (law) on revealing your name and address as the owner???

I can remain anonymous behind Demon, but if i bought, say, boomer.com (which i can't 'cos it has gone) then eveyone would know where i lived

If you have an accomodating ISP (eg Titan ) you can get them to put your name (or nickname) and their address as a contact.

Most of mine show as FRST, Adrian, with an address of the ISP that registered the domains before I was with Titan.

If its a non-business domain you can mask your personal details. You will not appear on whois. Only business domains have to show the details.

I use Dotster for all of mine - got about 7 now I think LOL
