PC & Xbox Live - USB & Ethernet Modem
#1
I have a modem that has a USB and an ethernet connection.
Is there anyway I can internet share using the usb connection to the pc and ethernet to the xbox, or do I have to plug the xbox to the pc, pc to the modem via usb, and use enable internet connection sharing?

I know the last method works. One of the lads in here has a PC with two NIC's and a USB 'frog' ADSL modem.
He has another PC connected to the first NIC using a cross-over cable and the XBox connected to the other NIC using another cross-over cable.
He's got ICS enabled for web-browsing, but the XBox works fine.

Yeah, my mate has the same configuration, I was just wondering if there was an eay way of using the modem by both without ICS or a router.
I know I can the PC plugged into the Modem via USB and Xbox into via Ethernet and it works fine as long as I don't have both trying to access the internet at the same time (so xbox or PC, but not both)
