Have a prob with MSN at the mo.
I cannot sign in to get to my mail / messenger on my desktop however it is no prob on the laptop ??
Someone has suggested a corrupt file somewhere in the desktop and perhaps uninstalling MSN then reinstalling might help ? prob is I cannot find it on the add/remove prog. list ????
I did a search through the hard drive for files and folders containing text MSN but am not entierly sure what I am looking to delete ???
Is there an easier way of dealing with this ?...please say yes !!

To completely remove MSN from XP:
Close MSN
Start/Run and type in
RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove
Then go to http://messenger.msn.com to download the latest version (or use Trillian instead http://www.ceruleanstudios.com/trillian/index.html)
