Whenever I start up the task manager, it has no border and the item on the task bar has no title. I cannot minimise it, close it, or anything. Any ideas

P.S. Its WinXP

 

do you get any problems if you don't start task manager?

sounds like TM is crashing as soon as you run it.
what icons are in your task bar? anti virus? software firewall?
what's in your start up (registry too)?

I can mail you my own task manager type app to see if that doesn't conflict with whatever TM is conflicting with.

 

Double click anywhere on the window, should restore your menu bar.
