just got a new 120GB hdd 
put in my comp - ran win 2000 cd on boot
it's put the drive letter as f
should'nt it be c for the main drive
can i change it ?? without any repercussions

Right-click on my computer / Manage / Disk Management - can change the drive letters there. It doesn't actually matter what letter it is, as it uses a variable for the system drive %systemdrive% rather than hard coding it to C:\
