Question

Hi All,

My pc is playing up, very strange. When I power up first thing in the morning(press a button on the keyboard - as set up in the bios) it normally humms for about 3 seconds then dies. So I pull the power cord out the back, give it 5 mins and then tries again. Seems then to work perfectly.

The other odd thing Ive noticed is that sometimes it appears to be running at 900mhz and others 1200mhz, it is a 1200 processor and was set to be run at 1200.

Really strange, cant decide if this is power supply or motherboard, or something else???

Any ideas?

cheers

Andy

Probably go for the psu first. £30 arent they.
At least a 350 watt capability.
