Anyone use a decent tool for automatically extracting loops from a WAV/MP3 file and saving them as small WAVs?
I use Acid and the beatmapper does just this but has no way of exporting the loops, need to be able to open a song and work with it so I can then mess with the loops in acid. tried a few shareware/freeware ones which either just crash on large files or are very buggy.
Something like cool edit pro is overkill (and is $249!), I dont need extensive DSP effects and the like.
Any ideas?
cheers
