Battlefield 1942 question

Hi,
If you're a medic in BF1942 do you get points/score for healing people? Otherwise I couldn't imagine why you'd want to be one (unless you were playing for a clan)?

Medics are very good on maps such as coral sea, where you can act as a flak gunner and yet deal with boarders. Bascially Medics are also useful on maps that are less hectic (wake island) so that you can act the 'lone wolf'
Engineers are also very useful on coral sea too.

medics have a decent machine gun like asault , but they are better cos you can heal yourself.
Also its not about points, but teamwork. If you heal an engineer, the engineer may be able to help your vehicle for example
Many People are grateful for a helpful medic

Yep, but if you are playing in a good game of it, medics and engineers are invaluable. I normally play engineer with my clan and when not stall-landing planes on a pinhead to repair sharpish, I run around mining, tnting enemy hardware and repairing as many of my colleagues as I can find. They in turn do this more often to help other too :
The medic has a fairly good machine gun in general and if you are a crack shot with it, then being able to self heal is very, very useful.
Cheers,
Nick
