I had and old TNT M64 card that I was going to fit in a mates machine but when I opened his case the AGP slot was different. Anyway, the card spent the next 2 months in the glove box of the van.

I put it my machine yesterday and as the pc boots there is a long continuos beep , the monitor clicks to fire up but then goes back into standby and the pc hangs.

When i reseat the card it boots and evrything is fine , but only if the screw that holds the card into the chassis is out.

Is it dead, or does anyone have any tricks up teir sleeve?
