VPN Question
#1
Hi all
Having a slight argument over VPN A work mate is saying that your have to register 3DES VPN key within certain countries i.e US if you want to use that level of VPN if the tunnel originates or terminates in that country? Is this true? If so is there a governing body on where you go to register the keys? cos he says Cisco provides them as standard and he couldn't back up his claim that you need to register the key. As far as I know you can make up any 3DES you want?
Cheers

Scooby Regular
The only country which restricts the key size is France (as far as I know). France is restricted to 40-Bit.
Everywhere else is now unrestricted.
