I'd like to add a website to as many search engines as possible, with as little (or ideally NO) cost as possible!

Does anyone have any information they would care to share with me?

Thanks in advance.

yes! all the automated submission tools are a waste of time!

Its a well known fact that anyone who is (or wants to get) near the top of searches has to do it manually. toppile (http://www.toppile.co.uk/) do a really good 'human' service for about £150 a year (I think) with full stats.

If you want to submit yourself just remember to include plenty of meta-tag info, perhaps buy 2 domain related to your job/what someone would search for; one with hypens one without so if you design websites have www.websitedesign.com and www.website-design.com - one is for human searches one is spidered by the search engine and point them to your website, create backdoor pages, simply blank pages with meta-tags that instantly re-direct to your homepage.

Burr......We use this.

You can get a free trial and the full product only cost about $45.

It's pretty good and submits to loads of site. We have noticed a large increase in visitor traffic.

Hope this helps......
