Hi Folks
Was round a freinds sorting pc's out linked with a linksys router using ntl cable, had network sorted machines could see each other share files etc but neither could get web access tried ping comand in cmd got 4 packet loses 100% failure, then ping'd 127.0.0.1 which i understand is a loop back, this had 100% sucess then machine that i'd done this on could access web other machine still couldn't ping'd that one too and everything worked fine on both machines, question really is why, what did it do.
