I have a W2k Adv server running IIS, she sits behind a PIX firewall. Internalt everything works sweet. The firewall is configured and working as it should be, I can browse to the external IP address fine.....
however, I have had a sub domain created which is set to point to the external IP address, when browsing to the subdomain the browser has the correct IP address but the site cannot be found.
I have the host header name setup correctly in IIS but still nothing
Any ideas?
Cheers

Sounds like it can't actually access the webserver via the PIX, does IIS log the request? Is the error coming from your browser or IIS? Don't believe anything IE tells you regarding errors, it's a pile of lies

Check the IIS logs and see what they say, if you're getting to the webserver at all it'll log the request so you'll know if you're getting through for certain.
