just caught a virus from online gaming and had to re-install XP,

what do ppl use for protection at home???

other than featherlite

You could try Norton 2003 -
It has to be 2003 to work with XP!
Auto dials up (or whenever on line if still on dial up connection) to get latest virus definations.
Pretty sure you get a year evaluation

Sorry, but I am at a loss as to why you say that it has to be 2003 to work with XP?

It has to be version 2002 or above to work with XP. IIRC AV-2001 wouldn't install on the Whistler betas - an incompatibility in the Windows/NAV task schedulers would have prevented it working fully.
