Question

We need to upgrade our version of SQL7 to SQL 2000, so I'm after an upgrade cost.

Also we want to run it on a multiprocessor server, so I guess additional licenses would also be required.

Looking for a supplier to sell us:

SQL 2000 upgrade
3 additional SQL 2000 licenses

Or if there is a better (cheaper) solution, then cool!

How many processors?

If you want processor licenses they are about £3500 each IIRC.

I'm not in the office tomorrow but I could put you in touch with my supplier who is amenable to a bit of arm twisting.

Drop me a mail if you like.

Cheers,

Phil

Replied to say I've drunk too much rum and £3500 is not an u/g price

Also, I bet you want 4 in total, don't you

Cheers,

Phil
