Since re-installing with WinXP some of the office printers are sending LETTER sized print jobs to the laser.

I've been into printer properties and set EVERYTHING to A4
Next, I checked MS Word, which seems to default to LETTER size, instead of A4. Anyone know how to change the default to A4 ?

I did try Word's page setup but this only applies to the document your working on at the time eg. the next blank document will default back to LETTER size.

Anyone know how to solve this ?

Bugger, after ages looking I've found it.

On the page setup screen, you click A4 then you locate the little default button in the bottom corner of the dialogue and click that too - rendering all further documents at A4!

DOH!

Beemerboy - I saw this on MS Knowldgebase and they DID confirm this was a problem with Win9x.

Thats changed now though with Win2k and XP.
