Do I get a dial-in number with Broadband..?
#1
Does anyone know of Broadband providers that give a normal dial-up number also..
For example, if I had a broadband account including e-mail, could I use a dial-up number if I'm away to access my mail as if I were with a normal dial-up ISP ??
If yes, what providers & are the numbers 0800, 0808 or 0845...
Cheers

At work, we had a big argument about authenticating our 0845 dialup as we make money from people using it so why bother authenticating it! In the end, it was decided to leave the radius on so as not to over contend it for users paying for hosting as oppossed to those who just want dialup only.
If you really want a dialup just give me a shout and I wil get them to set you up a un/pw

just read your original post again
if you are really struggling for an ISP for ADSL with a dialup backup account and webmail so you don't download it when you are out of the office, give me a shout as we do our wires only from £25/mth+vat inc dialup backup
