Problem with Norton AV after changing User Profiles in Win 98
I've just changed a Windows 98 PC from the default login (goes straight in without asking for password), to use 3 user profiles. It looks like all the other programs are okay, and Norton AV 2002 runs okay.
However, when I try a Live Update, it says that the system is up to date (but it isn't).
Has anyone come across this before, or can suggest a way around it?
Cheers

Jamie,
How do you know it's not up to date?
From my recent experience with Win98 and multiple users, any prog. that affects the core O.S, such as Anti Virus, Office e.t.c. only needs to be updated once, say by loggin on with your original log-on and then all users should be updated..
Can you still logon with your original set up i.e. by pressing escape when it asks you for the logon and password? Try this and then try live update to see what happens..
