i was wonderin does the sccoby web pages slow down considerable at nite. reason i am asking is i have an ntl 1 meg connection and the node is about 100 metres from my house yet at nite there is a 10 - 15 second delay as i try to load some of the forum pages. i have done a tracert and it is only 10 hops with the maximum time deing 26ms for anyone of the hops.

anyone have any ideas?

Prob cos either Scoobynet is v busy at this time or ure contention ratio is near max.

 

must be the website coz the ntl engineer said i was only one of two ppls in the area to have a 1 meg connection and that there had been very few ppls have taken up the BB option in the area as well. is there any way i can find out how many user are on my pipe?
