VERY cheap inkjet printer
#1
Hi,
I am trying to find a cheap inkjet printer, nothing special just something to use for text and perhaps a few graphs. The only problem I'm having is that I need it to have a parallel port on it and not this new fangled USB stuff (am still running 95).
Any ideas on product/where from?
Cheers
Chris

watch out for HP and lexmark- you can pick the printers up for buttons, but you get your trousers pulled down when you need replacement ink carts.
cannon printer here:
http://www.morgancomputers.co.uk/sho...SubCategoryID=
you can gets carts at www.prink.co.uk for £3.50 black & £5.50 colour.
the carts for a similar HP are £14 and £17.
unfortunately the cannon is usb, I dont know if W95 likes usb, but i know you can get a usb card for next to nothing, or you may want to upgrade ( have you considered entering the 21st century )
theres a parralel/usb epson here for reasonable money, we use epsons at work and the cartriges are also cheap.
