Packaging a VB application (this is my 1st time)
Having a mare burning cd's which trash pc's

1st Screwed HD
2nd Improved, Added correct paths + dependency file - Screwed HD
with message that msvcrt.dll linked to missing ntdll.dll

about to embark on 3rd with additional ntdll.dll added into list of files.

Stepping through and the appl moans about not having dependency info for :

imagehlp.dll
msacc8.olb
msjro.dll
radmin32.dll

Can I safely ignore this ?? Boss is getting impatient, I'm running of of PC's to **** up.



Haeeeeeellp please - anyone got any experience of this package and deploy business ?????

You should make a ghost image of a clean PC, then you can **** it up as often as you like and restore the machine in 2 minutes.

VB app being developed on XP machine
Packaging to a single CAB

Installs fine on a Windows 98 PC (although it complains about SCRRUN.DLL being out of date !)

Kills an NT PC

Don't know what to do next !!!!

Can anyone offer any advice ???
