I've downloaded a film from Kazaa in avi format. Done it loads of times before and never had a problem, but this one won't open. I guess I am missing some sort of codec, so how do you find out which one? I am using Media Player 9.

It's probably a DivX movie. Install the codec and it should play OK.

Could also be Xvid.

just out of interest, what Xvid files do you download?? the site doesnt make it clear...anyone know?
