What's your budget? I'm sure that a Canon EOS 1Ds with a 24-70L lens will do a good job - yours for a mere £8500 or so.
If that doesn't appeal, then you'll find thatDPReview is the place to look for reviews. It'll help to decide what your priorities are too - size, speed, image quality, battery life, ease of use... the list goes on. If you're primarily after a camera to post pics on the web, then you don't need a high pixel count - look for low noise and accurate colour instead.

Decide on your priorities as above...
What do you want to use the images for? Purely web, or for printing too? Are you looking for a quality that'll allow you to move over from film for snaps?
Most importantly, what's your budget?
