Playing Vice City and started playing with wheeling the dirt bike, I eventually managed a wheelie of 1400 odd meters. What is the longest you have managed?

128 Havent really tried hard yet as spending time doing all the missions. Always crash into stuff.

 

1628 meters - would have been longer but I got bored.

Just get up some speed on the dirt bike, then pull a full wheelie, then just let go of the X button, and keep the controller held down. The bike stays in the wheelie position and you can just coast for as long as you can be arsed

 

I haven't got too far on the missions yet I am trying to kill Daiz at the moment.

Try wheelie-ing the scooter. You have to do a stoppie, then when it falls back to earth, accelerate and press down. Good fun

 

Ill have a look, but 58 seconds however far that is in metres

 

Theres a certain mission you have to do before you can start to buy properties, forgotten which one though. Maybe the one where you kill Diaz, youll see why!

 

How hard is that mission to do? I tried it once last night but f*cked it up when I got into the house

 

Its pretty difficult, go into the house real slow, and try picking the goons off one at a time. Then when you have to kill diaz, try to keep as well hidden as possible, like stand a few steps down the flight of stairs so he doesnt hit you very often, but you can shoot him easily.

My longest stoppie is 3 seconds

i found a good way to do stoppies on the moped.
if you use the view where you can see the bike side on(Is it R2 or L2)press the brake and push forward,then release brake,the bike seems to keep in a straight line a lot longer than the rear view(well it does for me anyway).
if i use the "behind moped and rider view"it seems to veer off and chucks the rider off(might be my dodgy pad)

Anybody know how do register the 2 wheel distance, and how to feed a fish

 

I've done 2 seconds on 2 wheels, but cant manage much more. Get a 4x4 then just swerve and brake left to right til it tips, then steer into it and drive forward.

Not sure how to feed the fish but I have done it 3 times according to the stats - presume it means falling in the water. Bit annoying that you cant shoot the sharks though.

Also managed to snipe 2 seagulls according to the stats - must have been in a frenzied shoot-out.

My mate was wondering how to measure wheelies? He's done them but only saw measurements for stopies. He's got the US version of the game by the way.

 

I was thinking the same for the UK version TBH

Longest wheelie I've done is only about 400m Gotta try it on the dirt-bike. Has anyone completed the dirtbike challenge in the stadium as I can't seem to get 3 or 4 of the last checkpoints and it drives me nuts!

 

Dirtbike in the stadium is a pain in the ar$e. You can take as long as you like, if anyone can get under 5 mins, then I will be seriously impressed, took me over 11!

 

dirt bike one took me 16 mins I couldnt suss out what to do and there was one I couldn't get until I wheelied through it

 

Tip for vigilante missions:

Collect all 100 hidden packages - this unlocks the hunter at the airbase. Basically its an Apache gunship with rockets and cannons much easier for blowing away the bad guys

Got up to level 36 on the vigilante missions before getting bored

I haven't really concentrated on getting the packages yet. I got 94 of them on GTA3 but only have 18 so far on vice city . This game is just so addictive Are you back at work yet Rich?

 

I had a go in the dirt bike ring once, and managed to get all the checkpoints (not sure of time).

However, whenever I go back now it is closed. How can I have another go inside the stadium?

 

Just found a website that says the stadium only opens when the clock is at 20:00 - this the case then?
