Hunters excellent Just dont try to get it in normal clothes, it also spawns on the helipad in Washington Beach.

Stadium only opens between 8pm and midnight I think.

Feeling much better for being active again, I think I was getting a bit of cabin fever sitting around feeling sorry for myself.

BTW - complete 12 levels of vigilante missions and your maximum armour is increased to 150. 12 levels of fire mission and you are fireproof on foot..... (go figure!) and I am told that 12 levels of paramedic does the 150 business to your health.

The safe way to get the hunter is to get a police uniform from the police hq you bust the chap out of in the game then grab a helicopter and hoon it over to the airbase.

For loads of money...(Does involve a small cheat)

1. Spawn yourself a Rhino tank.
2. Once in it press R3 to start the vigilante mission.

This involves destroying target cars. Each one you destroy earns you cash. I currently have 1,500,000+



Plus it's a great mission as you have Swat teams, police and the Army after you.

 

12 lvls of;

Paramedic = unlimited endurance aka perma sprinting
Pizza = 150 health
Vigilante = 150 armour
Fire = Fire proof on foot

 

Go to the stadium after 8pm to get the dirtbik echallenge.

You have to wear a police outfit to get into the army base.

managed to hold a wheelie for 329 seconds last night I travelled nearly 10,000 meters too I just kept going round and round the airport until I got bored and put the front wheel down almost 10 kilometers on the back wheel thats gotta be a record

Hmmm, thats approx 30 meters per second on a crappy dirtbike - you sure it isn't 1000 meters?

I reckon the dirtbike does does 10 meters per second - managed 1628 meters in 162 seconds

No it was that distance It took 5 and a half minutes to travel that distance because I wheelie the bike in second gear. that means I travelled 6 miles in 5 and half mins which is just over 60 mph I think. 1000 meters takes alot less time than that

Has anyone else found that there rampage tokens stop working I've done 12 rampages but can't seem to do any more I walk through the tokens and nothing happens? Also I don't seem to be able to change clothes anymore, again I walk through the clothes tokens and nothing happens. I am very far into the game, got all properties and done 50+ missions so I hope my save game is not donald ducked. I am currently racing the getaway driver, its a bit unfair as his car is miles more powerful than the piece of sh*t you get and the police only try and stop you not him.

Sounds like your games corrupt. Didnt save at Cherry Poppers Ice cream, or use a cheat did you?

And racing the getaway driver is just plain difficult! Learn the course, and practice. Although you could try shooting his tyres out at the beginning.

Mine has crashed three times now. It just freezes and nothing can be done except reset. Annoying if you haven't saved for a while.

It must be the game, as none of my other games do it - shame

No cheats but have saved at the ice cream place, is this known to bugger up save games?

 

Afraid so, I read it in one of the faqs on gamefaqs.com. Gutted, do you have another save before you save there?

 

I've done wheelies, but it doesn't register my distance either. Stoppies are registered.
I've had just over a 6 min time on the dirt bike in the stadium. Try and do the ones you find hardest first. The ones on the thin walls are easy if you do it slowly and line it up straight before you mount the wall.

 

steve - for a wheelie to be recognised it needs to be at least 5 secs long IIRC. stoppies only need to be 2secs +.

 

what a quality game there is just so much to do. How far into the game can you start buying business's? I am about 22% complete now.

It comes in one of the later missions - resides inside the right islands police station.

Anyone done the rampage up near the airbase yet in the trees.

How cool does that gatling gun sound, complete with motor whistle

Took me a few goes to do it though - very hard to run and/or turn with that weapon.
