...get the status bar to show when IE opens?

Tried everything I can think of, but everytime I start a new IE session, the status bar is not visible.

IE6 and XP ?

have the same problem and not managed to solve it !

Weird, i have the very same and o.k. for me.

i take it you have view/status bar ticked??

Dave - yep XP + IE6.

RichiW - yes, during a session, but starting next session status bar not visible until I tick View Status Bar again.
