Rear Entry SCART extender
#1
I need a SCART extender cable (male to female type thingy) but in ribbon form with rear plug connections, not the traditional side entry plugs like most SCART cables. I haven't been able to find this anywhere!
Anyone know a really good source (preferably on line) for cables that might have it, or someone who bespokes cables?
TIA,
Alex

If you needed the cables striaght away, your best bet is going to Richer Sounds and getting a new SCART cable with a rear entry ribbon cable (various lengths and quality available)
The place I use for custom cables is: Unilet Sound & Vision, New Malden, Surrey, KT3 4BY, 0208 942 9567
Call them up and ask for the 'cable guy'. He is placed in the same place and can make up an common cable in a matter of hours, and anything a bit specialist in a day or so. A huge variety of cables, connectors, lengths, etc. Best call him up and tell him what you want including your budget, then let him make the recommendations.
He has always been honest and his recommendations have been spot on for me!
Hope this helps

Ditto Andy's comments ...
I've had numerous ( read ... too many ) cables made up by this guy. All top quality gear and at a decent price.
Ahmet is the chap's name, btw.
