Question

is it possible to run ghost multicast server version 7.0 on a windows 98 OS? and do i need DHCP running to use multicast?

only reason why i want to run multicast server on windows 98 is because it's on a laptop, so i can lug it about doing re-imaging

Not an easy one mate!

You do need to have DHCP service running with a fixed pool of addresses. I have never seen it work properly under '98. I would say you'd be better off with a NT or 2000 machine.

(but i stand to be corrected if there is anyone who knows different )
